Alex Jeanpierre earned her Master of Public Health degree in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Public Health. In her previous work, she has conducted research in community settings in the areas of nutrition and health, decision making, and health communication. As part of the Research Management Team (RMT) at CanSORT, Alex works primarily on Project 3 of the P01 grant, which involves an RCT of a Comprehensive Breast Cancer Treatment Patient Decision Tool. She assists the development of patient surveys, researches and assists in the development of the decision making tool, performs usability testing on health materials, and coordinates recruitment efforts of participating sites. She is also the lead in the Spanish language initiative of the Survey Development Core. Alex assists in developing timelines and goals for Project 3, as well as coordinates with outside departments in order to ensure these goals are met. She specializes in qualitative research, protocol development, and community outreach. Her research interests include health disparities, decision making, and health communication.
