Administration

CanSORT Administrative Core services provided by our leadership and administrative team are focused on several key areas:

  • Maintenance of a well-structured process of administrative and fiscal oversight that has optimized accountability and integration of our research mission and team science
  • Establishing metrics for benchmarks and milestones and a process for ongoing evaluation of the progress of the program
  • Developing a plan for long-term success including strategies to augment the scientific aims of the program with additional research questions
  • Engaging coordinated inputs from our External Advisory Board, consultants, patients and clinicians to ensure success of the program and research team
  • Partnering with industry to establish data linkages between key evaluative and diagnostic tests and our research data
  • Facilitating team communication, decision-making, mentoring and education of faculty, staff, and students at all levels
  • Positioning CanSORT to make high impact on health outcomes for cancer patients at the local, state, and national level
